Jenna Mayor - Vet Assistant
Jenna was born in Thunder Bay and was fortunate enough to have dogs, cats and horses growing up. Coming from such a remote city, she spent most summers from the age of 16 onwards away at horse shows across Canada and the U.S, in between obtaining her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Lakehead University. After University, she immersed herself in the hunter/jumper industry and travelled across North America and to parts of Europe where she worked as a professional rider and groom for several Olympians. Following that, she moved to Southern California where she was riding, showing, coaching and managing several hunter/jumper show barns. Once she returned to Canada, she obtained a job with a referral hospital in the equine division and was quickly promoted due to her experience and dedication to expand her knowledge. When she's not at work, you’ll find her spending time with her homebred warmblood showjumping mare, or hiking and camping with her husband and their rescue Husky mix, Auston.
